Grandall Lawyers Elected as Mediators for Investment Agreement on CEPA

Recently, Ms. SUN Xiaoyan, managing partner of Grandall Suzhou Office, and Ms. XU Wenli, managing partner of Grandall Shijiazhuang Office, have been elected as mediators for investment disputes regarding the Investment Agreement on Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA) of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT)/China Chamber of International Commerce (CCIC).

The Investment Agreement on Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement, executed by and among the Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao, serves as a mediation mechanism to solve investment disputes among investors from the said areas, and to further optimize the interests and benefits of the investors.  The CCPIT/CCIC, as the institution designated by said investors, has selected mediators to solve disputes arising from the investment activities.  

Ms. SUN and Ms. XU have been elected as the mediators attributable to their extensive experience in dispute resolution in cross-border investment law, international commercial law, international trade, international investment, and corporate law, etc., and will make their contributions in the area.
